I am Aljen Dela Cruz, from the Philippines, and I have been working in Hong Kong for 10 years. Uplifters has been life-changing since I began my journey as a Team Leader. Stepping into leadership was not easy, but I learned that my role is not to change people, but to share my journey and inspire them to find their own path. Through this, I grew in emotional intelligence, financial wisdom, and communication. “Leadership is not about proving your worth, it’s about lifting others to see theirs.” I am grateful to be part of a community that reminds us that, as migrant domestic workers, we too can dare to dream big and build the life we want.
