I am Julie Ann Tabigne, a proud mother to a 14-year-old, from the Philippines, and I have been working in Singapore since 2013. I met Uplifters during the pandemic through social media, and enrolling was the beginning of a life-changing journey. With everything I have learned, I have been able to slowly build a fund for my son’s education and buy a small piece of land. I learned to say no to unnecessary things and to remind myself of the purpose behind my sacrifices. I hope my journey can be an inspiration to fellow migrant domestic workers. Dream, believe, and make it happen!
