I am Mary Anne Casamina, from the Philippines, and I have been working in Hong Kong since 2015 to support my two children alone. I joined Uplifters in 2018, and the Dare to Dream course honed my skills in managing my hard-earned money and gave me the confidence to involve my family in our budgeting plan. It helped me open conversations about money at home, so we could plan wisely and understand the difference between wants and needs. As a mentor, I am glad to see fellow Uplifters grow and work consistently toward their goals. “If you have the courage to start, you have the courage to succeed.”​
