Free gatherings across Hong Kong and Singapore. Open to everyone, not only Uplifters students. Come to learn, share, and meet people who understand your situation.

Most of our learning happens online. Some things work better face to face. There are three ways to join us in person: Uplifters Clubs, local groups that meet on days off ; Open Houses, quarterly events, open to anyone ; and Info & taster sessions to try a course before to enrol.

Uplifters Clubs

An Uplifters Club is a local group run by trained domestic workers who have completed our courses. Clubs meet in person on days off, usually once a month. At a meetup you introduce yourself, share what you are working towards, and learn alongside others. Members bring food, swap tips, and stay in touch between meetings.You do not need to be a student to come. Anyone is welcome.

Open houses

We hold Open Houses every quarter in Hong Kong and Singapore, always on a Sunday so you can come on your day off. Meet our team, meet other workers, and find out what Uplifters offers. If you have referred a friend, you can collect a thank-you gift at the event.

Info & taster sessions

Info & taster sessions let you try a course before you enrol. You'll meet a member of our team, see how the course works, and ask questions, with no pressure to sign up afterwards.
