💙 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 2025! 💙
We were proud to have a booth at this vibrant event — thanks to the kind invitation from The Salvation Army Singapore Peacehaven — celebrating and strengthening caregiver support in Singapore.
From heartfelt caregiver stories to wellness activities, fall prevention demos, and inspiring senior performances, the day was filled with community, care, and connection.
At Uplifters, we were there to shine a light on a group too often overlooked in the caregiving ecosystem — migrant domestic workers (MDWs).
They are caregivers too — supporting our families by caring for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities. And yet, they often lack access to training, education, and recognition.
That’s why we offer free, online, peer-led courses that equip MDWs with mental well-being tools and practical knowledge to support their caregiving roles and personal growth.
🆕 And we’re excited to share that we’ll soon be launching a comprehensive elderly and disabled care course — designed specifically to meet MDWs’ real-life needs and further strengthen the caregiving ecosystem in Singapore and beyond.
🙌 A big thank you to the organisers The Salvation Army Singapore Peacehaven and the Agency for Integrated Care (Singapore), and to everyone who stopped by to connect with us.
And a heartfelt thanks to Minister Siow Huang Gan, Guest of Honour, for recognising and uplifting the vital role caregivers play in our communities.
✨ Let’s keep working together to uplift all caregivers — including the invisible ones working in our homes — and build a more inclusive, compassionate society.
💙 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭.
