Experian, a leading global information services company, and Enrich, a Hong Kong charity promoting the economic empowerment of migrant domestic workers, work together to highlight the economic contribution that migrant domestic workers have in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia

This report reveals that migrant domestic workers contribute significantly to economies both in their home countries and destination cities, but yet are financially excluded and return home financially worse off.

The findings suggest that greater financial inclusion (bank account ownership, saving methods, reasons to raise a loan) can be an immediate step in ensuring that there is a mutually beneficial relationship between migrant domestic workers and their destination cities.
