On January 12th, we gathered for our Appreciation Ceremony to celebrate the amazing contributions of our student volunteers.
These inspiring women, migrant domestic workers themselves, take time from their busy lives to guide and support others in their journeys toward empowerment. Uplifters is an organisation for migrant domestic workers, by migrant domestic workers. They are the heart and soul of everything we do, and none of our achievements would be possible without their dedication. 💙
The day was filled with joy, gratitude, and a sense of community. From an incredible panel of writers and heartfelt speeches to delightful plays and dances that brought smiles to everyone’s faces, every moment was truly unforgettable.🌟
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to our corporate volunteers, who played a vital role in the event’s success. Their dedication, from helping with the setup to ensuring the smooth running of the event, made everything absolutely perfect. Thank you for your invaluable support! 🙏
